Monday-We will discuss section one Chapter. 302-305. We will examine Jefferson’s view of government and the role played by John Marshall in strengthening the Supreme Court. I will also explain project that will be due the 15th.
Tuesday-We will discuss the Louisiana Purchase and the journey of Lewis and Clark.Each student will do a creative writing exercise about Lewis and Clark pp. 306-310.
Wednesday-We will discuss how U.S. neutrality was threaten and how the government responded. Students will do p. 314 1-5.
Thursday-We examine the causes, fighting and the results of the War of 1812. Students will answer questions from a teacher prepared ditto sheeet. They will work in pairs.
Friday-We will continue discussing the War of 1812.
