Monday-We will review the Judicial Branch and Checks and Balances. We will also examine the Bill of Rights and some of the later amendments added to the Constitution. pp. 256-261.
Tuesday-We will discuss the role of local and state governments in the lives of citizens. We will also take a look at the rights and duties of citizenship. pp. 262-268. Students will do p. 261 1-5 and 268 1-4.
Wednesday-We will have a brief quiz on the Bill of Rights and other amendments. We will introduce Chapter 9. We will read and discuss the time line and pictures on pp. 276-277.
Thursday-We will discuss events that shaped our nation during the term of George Washington. pp. 278-282.
Friday-We will finsh our discussion of Hamilton’s financial plan. Students will do p. 282 1-5.
Wednesday-We will have a quiz on the Bill of Rights.
