Monday-We will discuss the founding of the New England Colonies with special emphasis on religious freedom. pp.102-107. Students should finish and turn in ditto started on Friday.
Tuesday-Students will do an art exercise related to history that will be finished and turned in during class. Students will start an essay about Life in the New England Colonies to be finished as homework.
Wednesday-We will evaluate the reasons and persons involved in founding the Middle Colonies. We will also examine the lifestyle of the Middle Colonies. pp. 108-112
Thursday-We will finish our discussion of the Middle Colonies. We will then investigate the reasons and people behind the founding of the Southern colonies. pp. 113-119. Students will create notes on pp. 113-119 that will be checked for a grade.
Friday-We examine how the idea of self-government became rooted in the English Colonies. pp. 120-124.
