Monday-We will examine the founding of Jamestown and the factors that will eventually lead to it’s success. We will also review the start of representative government in America. Students need to finish p. 87 questions and key terms.
Tuesday-Students will work in pairs extracting ideas from section 5 Religious Freedom. We will then share information in whole group setting. We will strss the importance of religious freedom.
Wednesday-We will review Chapter 5 in preparation for a test.Students will create review questions. I will give them a list of words from the Chapter. They will use the words to create a story about the chapter.
Thursday-We will test on Chapter 5.Students will read 102-105 aqnd we will introduce the new chapter..
Friday-We will spent the first part of class discussing current events-15 minutes. we will then examine the founding of the New England Colonies with special emphasis on the Puritans and Pilgrims.
