Monday-We will continue discussing the Age of Exploration. Students will turn in p. 72 1-5. If they have not finished they can finish in class. This lesson will cover pp. 68-72 in the textbook.
Tuesday-We willexamine the factors that led to Spain building an empire in the Americas. Students will do Focus questions and key terms on page 74.
Wednesday-We will continue examining Life in Spain’s American Colonies. Students will; work together to create journal entries reflecting life in the Spanish Colonies. These entries will be due Thursday.
Thursday-Students will work together to create summaries of the information in section 3 pp. 81-86. We will then share infrmation in whole class setting.
Friday-Students wil continue discussing the Colonizing of America. They will also read pp. 87-91 and do Reading Focus and Key Terms to preapre for Monday’s lesson on Jamestown. They can finish work Monday in Class.
