Monday-We will finish vocabulary pretest. Students will do an exercise concerning U.S. climates pp. 16-17 in the textbook. Students will start on p. 25 -1 only and p. 30-1 only. Periods 1 and 2 will finish in class Tuesday. Periods 3 and 4 will finish for homework.
Tuesday-We will review vocabulary and geographic information covered thus far in preparation for a quiz. We will read the timeline p 34 and discuss Early Native American Cultures. pp. 36-41. Each students will write a paragraph summary about the culture of the Azteca-Incas-Mayas. pp. 38-40.
Wednesday-We will continue our discussion of North American Indian Cultures. We will discuss the cultures that existed when Europeans began to arrive in the New World. pp. 42-48
Thursday-The first part of class we will have a brief quiz. Students will draw and put in notes Native American chart on page p. 45 We will explore section three-Trade Networks of Africa and Asia. Students will do Key Terms top of page 50 for homework.
Friday-We will investigate European Culture in 1400’s. We will then watch a video on the geography of Tenn.
