Monday-We will discuss The Republic of Texas.p. 385-389  This will include the Texas Revolution and the founding of the Lone Star Republic. spi L3 Students will work on ditto sheet of question and turn in  Tuesday
Tuesday-We will read aloud and examine California and the southwest. pp. 391-393 Students will do p. 393 1 and 2.

Wednesday-We will review the events and people that played a role in the Mexican War. pp. 394-397. spi L3. Students will do p. 397 1-5.

Thursday-Students will finish p. 397 1-5. We will conclude our discussion of The Mexican War. We willexamine how the Mormons settled the desert Southwest and how the discovery of gold led to the rapid settlement of California.

Friday-We will finish and review the Chapter for a test on Monday. We will also do a creative writin activity related to the Chapter.
