Monday-I will give a test covering pp. 78-91. Periods 1st-3rd and 6th will test on Monday and periods 5th and 6th will test on Tuesday. Classes not testing will read pp. 93-97. We will discussthe importance of religious freedom in the early settlement of the 13 English Colonies. Students not testing on Tuesday will do p. 97 1-5 as homework.
Tuesday-We will test in 4th and 5th period. My other classes will read and discuss pages 91-97-the importance of religious freedom. Those students who have not done so will do p. 97 1-6.
Wednesday-We will finish our discussion of the Pilgrims and introduce the new Chapter4-The 13 Colonies. We explore why the Puritans left England and settled in the Bay Colony. Students will start working on p.107 1-6.
Thursday-We will finish our discussion of the Puritans and how other New England colonies were founded. Students will finish p. 107 1-5.
Friday-We will review the founding of the Middle Colonies and how people lived in the Middle Colonies. pp. 113-119. Students will complete a ditto sheet of questions covering pp 109-112.
