Monday-We will do a creative writing exercise related to 9/11. It will include writing and a drawing. If there is time left we will discuss life in New France and New Netherland. pp. 82-86.
Tuesday-We will explore the founding of the first English settlement in North America-Jamestown. We will review the problems and successes of the Jamestown settlement. pp. 87-89. Students will do p. 1-5 for homework. spi L3
Wednesday-We will finish covering pp. 87-91. I will review the students for a test pp. 74-91. Students will leave the class with questions to study for the test.
Thursday-We will test on pp. 74-91. After testing students will read pp. 93-97.
Friday-We will discuss pp. 93-97. We will talk about the role religious freedom played in the founding of the 13 English Colonies. spi L3
